Important Things to Know About the NDA Exam
The NDA written examination consists of objective-type questions. The Mathematics paper carries 300 marks, while the General Ability Test carries 600 marks, making the written examination worth a total of 900 marks.
Candidates should also be aware of negative marking. Marks are deducted for incorrect answers, so attempting questions carefully is just as important as knowing the correct concepts. Smart time management and accuracy can make a significant difference in the final score.
After qualifying in the written examination, eligible candidates move forward to the SSB Interview and subsequent medical assessment. The final selection is based on performance across the prescribed selection stages and the resulting merit position.
Prepare Smart. Practice Regularly. Perform Confidently.
Cracking the NDA examination requires more than simply completing the syllabus. Students need consistent classroom learning, regular revision, question practice, mock examinations and guidance from experienced mentors. A structured preparation plan helps candidates identify weak areas, improve their accuracy and become comfortable with the actual examination environment.
